Anvil Armorlite cases are constructed of a low density extruded polyethylene core sandwiched by two aluminum skins. They are about 30 percent lighter in weight than 1/2" and 3/8" ATA cases, and they are designed form the inside out in order to give maximum protection.
Anvil ATA cases can be custom designed, and are constructed to meet or exceed the Air Transportation Association Specifications 300, Category 1, ATA cases are the most durable reusable transit cases available. They are made with 1/4", 3/8" 1/2" ACX plywood, Lightweight XLT Polypropylene (some size & weight restrictions, ABS plastic, aluminum or fiberglass exterior laminate and can be ordered with many options and in many colors.
